Intended Audience

  • Web developers who wish to incorporate the prepaid transaction processing capability of the Savvy Connect Core system into an ecommerce website. The most common uses for such an integration are to allow a merchant’s Savvy-issued gift cards to be used as a payment method on their ecommerce site, and also to offer voucher codes as an item that can be purchased and sent to a recipient.

  • EPOS system developers. This interface is not limited solely to usage with ecommerce websites – it can be used by any system that supports REST, so for example it may be used to build a gift card module for an ePOS system that behaves like a traditional PDQ terminal application.

  • Important Note - the Savvy REST API is not intended for integration with browsers or browser rendering engines.
